Hi I am a long time user of Mail Washer (over 20 years!) but I am having a quite inexplicable problem I am presently migranting from an on Windows 10 box to Windows 11.

I had version 7.15.38 on the old PC which worked as usual but the the new version refuses to delelete emails, whether they are spam, blacklisted or just emails I have flagged to delete by clicking on the delete icon.

I am using a POP email account, downloading emails to my PC and having Outlook delete them from the server after downloaded

I can't see how it can be my email account as that hasn't changed

OS = Windows 11 pro
Outlook 2016
Mailwasher 7.15.39 (version 7.15.38 on old PC seemed to work fine)

Please can anyone help!

Yes, probably the easiest way to fix this is to first ensure you are using the same MWPro version on both PC's there, check under Help>>About, you should be using version 7.15.40, if not install from here:

http://www.firetrust.com/products/mailw ... o/download

Then, save your settings from the PC that is working OK, via File>>Export, move the resulting file to the other PC and click File>>Import to import them.

Just an update is that I now have a solution thanks to Jeremy of Firetrust support. He suggested that I disable pipelining in Accounts/incoming settings and that worked!

Hi talkingcat,
You can try running it as administrator and double-check that the POP3 server settings, especially "leave messages on server" options, Slope Game match your old setup. Also, temporarily disable Outlook’s auto-delete from server to see if it's interfering with MailWasher’s ability to execute deletions.
