Re: Something new I've not seen before?
I can wait. I re-booted and all the e-mail messages came in OK? I suspect a POP3 server problem and it wasn't handled at all by MWP, well, it was handled as you saw, while I would have liked a message telling me there was a server error, re-try later (assuming it would work then?).

Re: Something new I've not seen before?
I get that message a lot but it only seems to happen when the MW/server link is under a heavy load. Not sure if it is a MW or POP problem but you could send the logs to Firetrust (from help menu) and see what they say.
Put in a link to your post here (right click the white icon by your user name to copy the link) and put Chris in as the ticket number.

Doesn't flash for me either, did a filter to catch these sneaky ones and keep them to the top of the grid so I know a re-check is in order.

Re: Something new I've not seen before?
It's always a MailWasher issue this one...
I know it's a few days old Irv, but have you seen this happen since. Do you know if at the time your machine was going under some other heavy processing ?

Re: Something new I've not seen before?
Rustic, I'm sure it was, but it always is loaded at boot... however, sometimes of course there are different 'things' active during boot, an update either being searched for or even d/l'ed. I'm considering delaying MWP on boot now? I have 2 programs that would do this for me.
It was the first time I've ever seen this, but it seems others have before.

Re: Something new I've not seen before?
You could set MW not to check on startup, and just let it wait for it's first automatic check instead. If you were checking every 5 minutes you'd probably barely notice, that said some servers don't like checking too often.
urgh....just had aftershock while typing this
I think a delay option within MailWasher is probably in order though.

Re: Something new I've not seen before?
Rustic, yes, I guess I could stop the on-load check, but I'd rather have that happen than wait 10 minutes? I usually open MWP the first chance I get to see what e-mail came in.
Delay option would be difficult, other than a delay on first check I guess?
There are a slew of programs that can delay start of programs, I'd rather use one of them.
What aftershock, where are you?
