MW10 installs fine - won't load ???

One of the most likely causes of this is your firewall/security software not granting the required permissions.

Did you install to the default location that the installer specified? If not hopefully not to the same folder that you have V6 installed.

Also how much RAM does your system have?

You may also need to do a Repair/Update of the .NET v2x and/or 3.5x

Laptop has 3GB RAM.

Yes, I accepted the default location for MW10, and now there is but ONE "MailwasherPro" folder in Application Data. I cannot figure out how to separate the contents, or what to do now.

New version in Application Data should be in a folder Firetrust/MailWasher

Old version should be in MailwasherPro

Confirm that and we'll go from there.

Let's check your Microsoft .NET resources. This is required for MWP 2010.

I have put arrow pointers on what I think are the needed versions.

There have been issues with these resource being corrupted etc.

Go to Control Panel Add/Remove programs and then scroll down to see what is shown on your system.

There have also been problems with the video card drivers not being up to date and you might want to see if there is a later version available.

Another thought is that you Security/Firewall software jumped on your install. We may have to uninstall MWP 2010, turn them off temporarily and try a clean install.
