I've got to tell you that I've been using the old v6.0 Pro, and the new 2010 Pro, side by side, and find the 2010 version is not worth adopting:
1. No way to migrate the extensive filter list from old to new.
2. New version deleted "hide" & "auto -delete" feature in filter specification.
I have spent considerable time building a filter library, and am not going to reinvent the wheel. Further, I can minimize the spam list with the hide feature with the old v6.0. Yeah, I know the risks with "hide" and auto-delete, and I find it worth it.
So I don't see the annual subscription fee for 2010 worth the buy-once basis of v6.0.
Just my 2¢.
Cheers,
Jim

(1) If you do a search one of the users created a filter conversion tool that has done the job for several.
(2) Auto delete feature is there in the filter setup, Override
(3) You can use the Group feature to hide anything

You can try this filter importer, but results may vary as it was written by a user not us. http://s3.amazonaws.com/Firetrust/MailW ... Import.exe

Re: Filters...import?!?
That importer didn't work for me. My entire years of using MW was based on filters. Nearly everything not included in a filter was bounced and deleted. I doubt I can even use the MW2010. I don't have the time to transfer/code all of those filters into the new format .... there are many of them. It is a shame that you did not mention this before I installed the MW2010. I wouldn't have bothered.

Thanks for your help with the import tool link, rusticdog, but as you might have guessed, there is no way that I'm running an unknown exe.
MW Pro v6.0 has been good to me, and unless Firetrust can cripple it's use, I'm not going to jump ship to MW 2010. The filter migration problem is no doubt something that the publisher decided upon when writing the new code, and weighed the cost/benefits of losing a few supporters such as myself.
Never did find the "hide" feature that I use in v6.0.
Cheers,
Jim

Filter tool is safe and has been used successfully by several users. You will need to watch after the conversion for any issues but a lot have been processed successfully. The only known issue is an occasional failed conversion but all that have been found have been fixed.
