On my WinXP PC I downloaded and installed MW Pro 2010. It seems to work very well but has one small problem. After activating the application, it tries to access the internet constantly, once every 1 1/4 seconds. I have searched through the settings and turned off all the obvious things that could be causing this with no success. Any ideas?

My guess is that what you are seeing is the two MWP executable files communicating with each other locally. You may be able to configure your security software so that it doesn't think that it is a problem.

Yeah that's right, it's not internet access, so whatever program telling you this is also picking up local traffic through the loopback IP address.
ZoneAlarm is common for doing this, you want to be sure 127.0.0.1 is listed in your Trusted Zone.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on this problem. My Zone Alarm is not seeing this as a problem, but it is showing it as constant internet access. I'm glad to know that is not the case.
