Other apps allow you to remove this option on Windows 7
Can it be done for MW Pro 2010?
All it shows is "Exit".

May I ask what you loose by just leaving it there? On my system all you have extra is a small black triangle that cause no problems!

If you don't know the answer, MOVE ON.
The popup box is distracting.

Re: removing tasks popup list on start menu
I don't know programs that had the option to remove these, I thought they were just Windows7 taking the Tasks menu we load for the TaskBar icon. Can you detail which programs have this option and we can consider taking a look.

Do you use "CCleaner" at all?
In "Advanced" options, there's "Enable Windows Jump List Tasks".
I'm pretty sure Skype use to have a Tasks list, but they've removed it.

You can set the Start Menu not to popup submenus automatically and then it would instead require a mouse click. That's probably a btter solution if you find the popups annoying.
I installed CCleaner and found the TaskBar Jump List cleaner did nothing, so I'm not sure what it was supposed to have detected to remove.
