Re: Version 9 for IOS
It's not actually a zip file, but something on your computer is associating it with a zip file. It is an archive though, but all you need to do it drag the .ipa file to iTunes and it will work.

Re: Version 9 for IOS
Thanks for that - WinZip caused the problem - I reset the file to .IPA then made it recognised by ITunes instead of WinZip.
I then found that by clicking on the downloaded file it was sent to ITunes.
It all works well so far.....

I see so this is the reason why it didn't work for me. Changing the file type now.thector wrote:Thanks for that - WinZip caused the problem - I reset the file to .IPA then made it recognised by ITunes instead of WinZip.

Sorry for not completely understanding this. What exactly is the file/app that's causing this?nick.bolton wrote:It's not actually a zip file, but something on your computer is associating it with a zip file. Appearently, on your computer, .ipa files are associated with Winzip.elizaobellasis wrote:Sorry for not completely understanding this. Re: Version 9 for IOS
You can thank Microsoft, Internet Explorer does that. All you have to do is complete the download and then edit the file name extension from .zip to .ipa.elizaobellasis wrote:Sorry for not completely understanding this.
