As an aside, I'm using IE v7 since I've no plans to upgrade from XP Pro and I understand that IE8 needs at least Windows 7.

I see not reason to stay with IE v7. IE8 is the last version for XP. See:

Have you put the fix in for the latest exploit?

Sorry for not being clear. The exploit is against IE8. See the link.

Hi All, sorry for the late reply. Seems like New Zealand got sort of cut off from the rest of the world internet for a few hours here, so things were very slow/degraded.

Anyway
@ Racker & anniebron: The 'Undefined' problem is related to installing over the top of the old version instead of uninstalling it first. Fixing that at the moment.
@ mrgou & Stmiranda: Seems to be an Android problem, so we're looking at that now too.
@ Sidewinder: GMail problem. We're going to do IMAP very soon to fix this properly. If we remove the recent command, then we're going to have just as many or more people complain that it doesn't show all their email.
@ mrgou: Notifications are handled by the phone, not the Mailwasher software
@ Racker: Seems Android can only stop visual notifications, not sound (Settings>>Apps>>Mailwasher). I think we'll need to find a way to control this in the app if possible. We left out help file on this which we'll add in the next version.
@ cfheinz: Should have a fix for the blacklist issue soon.

We'll have another beta early next week, hopefully we can get recycle bin and reset password in there and fix these issues as well.

No settings for any MWM notifications at all on my Samsung GT-S5570 (Android V 2.3.5 - Gingerbread.XWKS7). BTW: I'm aware this isn't the latest Android version by far... Still, my phone being less than a year old, I suppose there must be a lot of others on -more or less- that same version out-there..
Beta tester.. oh well! ;)..

I'm not sure about the old Android versions, but 4.0 and above have the Settings>>Apps>>MailWasher notification settings.

I'm sure you're right... ;) One of the problems with a phone like mine, on an earlier Android version, is being dependent on the phone- manufacturer for any system updates.

OK, I'll try again once you release the next beta version which hopefully will fix the log in problem.

Thanks!

Not a big problem for me as I mostly use that account to be able to do spam reporting for KnujOn that is blocked by my ISP.

I assume that when you do the IMAP implementation that us POP users will then function the same way as MWP does now.

Nick:
The latest (1.2) version of the Mobile App requires me to Login on my Google Nexus 7 Tablet every time. This was not an issue on the previous version. I know this login issue has been reported before but did not notice if a Nexus Tablet was one of the devices mentioned..

Yes, it's a problem with that beta version for all Android devices. It's because we're using a 3rd party tool to wrap the app up and the bug is in there - we're about due for a fix for it according to them.
