Android MailWasher No Longer Syncing?

I was excited earlier. I got two email accounts set up on MW mobile by manually entering all of the account data. but, while trying to enter the data for another account, the app closed. Trying to reopen the app, I was asked to reset my password. Each time I tried, I was first presented with a fingerprint request. That only led to another request to reset my password.

Nothing thereafter would open the app or reset my password.

Do I need to uninstall MW Mobile and start all over again? MW Pro opens normally and downloads my account emails normally.

Yes, sounds like you may need to remove the app, restart your device, then re-install from the app or play store...

If you still cannot login, email support with your email address you are trying to login with (ensure you refer to this post) and we'll reset it...

OR, here's how to reset it yourself:

(you can do this on your PC's web browser or Mobile's web browser)

First, IF logged in.... log off MW Mobile, (icon for this top L/H side in MW Mobile >> Logout)

Then....

1.) Go here: https://mailwasher.firetrust.com/#/reset in your web browser.
2.) Enter your email address and click "Reset Password"
3.) Go to your email program, check mail and open the reset password email.
4.) Copy (hi-light then click ctrl C) the temporary password from the email, then go back to your web browser.
5.) Go here: https://mailwasher.firetrust.com/#/login
6.) Paste (ctrl V) the password into the password field, type in your email address and click Login.
7.) Type your new password (anything you like) and click "Change Password" Then, try re-syncing your accounts.

In MWpro click, Settings>>Sync>>Login, log back in again using the new password you created and click "Mobile", and tick the accounts/lists you want to sync, then click Sync.

Open Mailwasher on your mobile, click "Log in", enter your email address and new password, and you should be all set.....?

I received 11 password reset request emails from Firetrust last night, each with a temporary password. The first one that I tried didn't work. The second one did. I was able to open MW Mobile, then I was wicked happy to see that most of my email accounts were listed and useable.

Still have a few that won't sync, but I'm working on them. My primary accounts now show new emails.

Excellent! and yes, note that ones that use OAUTH or 2 step authentication wont work ... so possibly something like that... cheers!

Several of the ones I cannot sync use two step authentication. But I may be able to find the pre two step passwords and try using them to manually add them. Otherwise, I'm quite happy to have the accounts that I can use with MW Mobile. Makes email life easier.
