Hi Nick,

Is it possible that I'm deleting spam but it's coming back, just keeps coming back? I had some 300 yesterday, cleaned it out, but today it was 600 some... Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Ruth

Hi Ruth

Are you deleting them from within Mailwasher mobile? Or downloading them to your email client? If you send yourself a test email and delete it in MW mobile, does it come back?

Once a message appears in the list, this [deleting the message] is the only way to remove it.
Will there be a Clear message list option in MW Mobile later? It is a wicked useful feature.

Yes, probably a good idea and easy to do, not sure how we'd get the user to action it as it's always been a keyboard command.

We've just fixed the messages not being cleared off the list now

A menu option brought up by long press on the grid would be my pick.

I can't wait for this program to go to final release status. Since I don't have a smart phone I can't test the mobile app. I have one important question. Does it have a hover to display the URL status bar, or some other means of revealing the actual URL of links in email messages? I have been writing blog posts bemoaning the fact that most hand held devices don't reveal URLs when one hovers over them. This leaves smart phone owners vulnerable to social engineering tactics to exploit the phones.

Well you can always look at it in http://node.mailwasher.me as it's a web app, it's just going to look gigantic in your browser :)

The preview is a bit rough at the moment, so it needs a tidy up. At the moment we have the shown link and the destination link, so we'll do the preview like in Mailwasher Pro where it shows the 'shown link' and in brackets 'links to: destination link'
