I hope the final app will contain a menu to change the layout, especially font size and which fields to show.

Yes definitely. It's quite large for now - good for big thumbs. On the iPad and other tablets we'll have a different look as its all too big currently

Yes, of course 
I think most people would use it portrait mode, but it needs to adapt when used in landscape.
