My Mailwasher Mobile has only intermittently operated recently and gives the error message "No internet connection found" when there is both a wireless and cellular connection available.

What phone are you using? This error is the phone telling Mailwasher that there's no internet connection. Have you tried restarting your phone?

It is the iPhone 4S and the phone and app have been restarted many times.

Ok, can you browse the internet etc just fine on the 4S? How long ago did this start happening?

Can you also try going to https://node.mailwasher.me on the iPhone browser and see if that works ok?

Security app etc. blocking access?

This has been happening on and off for the last month or so. It usually works on Wi-Fi but not always.
It works fine by going to https://node.mailwashser.me but won't work by going to the apps url.

Ok, thanks. That points us a problem with the 'wrapper' that we use with the app. The app is actually just a website (the node.mailwasher.me link) but we wrap it up to make it look like an app and it communicates with the iPhone's internals. Are you using the latest IOS 7 updates or still on IOS 6? Strange only you're seeing it as no one else has reported this.

Any other devices swamping the WI FI on phone or external?

Ok, it's pretty hard for us to guess at what's going on there if we can't replicate it here ourselves and if no one else is reporting the issue. We are rewriting the app at the moment, so will update a lot of the components, but it still doesn't explain what's going on with your issue. So, at this point we're still in the dark...

Some things are so simple in hindsight.
Of all the many apps on my iPhone the only one that had cellular data turned off in settings was Mailwasher.
