Email account details disappearing

Hi,

An annoying problem in the last week, my email account details keep disappearing from the mobile program, resulting in the details having to be re entered. Android version 1.4.

We've had a couple of other people mention this, and we do delete accounts within 24 hours if you've changed your email account password, but not updated it in Mailwasher. If this is not the case can you email me and let me know which email address is disappearing so we can hunt down why. nick.bolton@firetrust.com

You might try turning off the "pipelining" options in your desktop accounts.in MWP?

Hi,

I've just had this happen to me and have had to sync the accounts again from the desktop, but now I'm trying to add a third and getting Errorcode 110 VerifyPopAccount failed.

This is a gmail address.

Try setting the account up on the Desktop and see if the settings that you are trying to use will validate. If not then check for the correct GMail settings and when you get it all correct then Sync to your mobile device.

Account was setup on the desktop and it has successfully retrieved all the emails sitting in Gmail.? I have now noticed a suspicious sign in message from Gmail and it has a usa ip address. I'm assuming that might be your servers as it happened around the time I was setting up and trying to sync. IP is 209.213.221.163 , ISP is Reliance Globalcom Services

I know Gmail is touchy about accessing the mail from different devices, but I have K9 on my phone and that retrieves mail fine.

Where would that error message be originating from.? Mailwasher trying to log into the gmail pop server.?

I've tried adding manually in the app, then I get a message 'max accounts exceeded' after entering all the details.

Got it.

Had to use this link in the suspicious message http://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha. logged in and confirmed myself. Now the sync works and the a/c is on my phone.

Thank you for the replies. I hope my a/cs do not disappear again, which started all of this. :D

Hi Nic,

Since posting, I have had no further occurrences :) so what ever the bug was, it has not affected me again but I will keep you posted.

Sorry I don't think you understand. I have no issue with my desk top MWP just the mobile app which does not allow me to add back the accounts that disappeared.

We have a limit on the number of accounts (1) you can add manually now, but as mentioned if you use Mailwasher Pro (the desktop Windows version) you can sync all your accounts to the mobile version.

I am using MWP for Mac and there is no such setting as "Sync."
Why was MWP app working with 3 accounts and then suddenly does not today? :?:

Update: MWP app will not even let me add my one primary account. Tells me it's duplicate. I have delete the app and started over and still same problem.
It seems there is no solution. Or is there?

My accounts have disappeared again. :cry

When I try to sync from the desktop it tells me 'errorcode 401 - not logged in', yet I am logged in on the desktop and the mobile app.?

I'm only trying to sync two accounts and friends and blacklist and get the error message 4 times.?
