How is IMAP inclusion coming along??

A bit slowly, but we realise it's important as more ISP's force their users to adopt IMAP, and then there's the IMAP only providers like Mac.com
We're busy getting ready to deploy this new version of MW Mobile, then we have a few more features to add to it and after that we'll add in IMAP.

Nick unlike the desktop MWP can we have total flexibility in which imap folders we process and not have the inbox fixed.
Due to the known deletion issue with gmail you have to use pop3 to properly delete all traces of spam and not leave anything in the 'all mail' section, this means that you cannot scan the spam section (or any other label setup in gmail) with imap as it also accesses the inbox, ideally I'd like to use imap & pop3 on gmail to work-a-around its shortcomings.

Perhaps we need to implement a special case for Gmail - I know they've just launched a special API so that might be the thing to do for Gmail

I did ask ages ago in the desktop MWP beta group that for gmail imap all deletes be moved into the gmail delete folder as that would then mean that you would have a full version in backup for 30 days and nothing left in the 'all mail' section. If this could be done with the mobile version then I think it would make gmail imap access more friendly.

Ok thanks, I'll relay that to the developers. We're reworking IMAP for MW Pro anyway as it would be a lot better and we'll use it on both apps.
