It sounds like you're using the current version of MW Mobile, we're just waiting on Apple to approve the next version of MW Mobile and this should solve any duplicate account and sync issues you're seeing.

There is one entry in the Blacklist of my PC "":"" and in general only emails which are spam are marked as such.
And there are four email addresses in my iPad Blacklist which do not relate to any of the emails currently marked as spam.

I would try deleting the entries in the black list to see if that changes the symptom.

Another thing to try. Swipe a few of the erroneous messages to change them to unknown. Then shutdown MWM and restart it and then do a check mail to see if the altered message come back as unknown.

Deleting Black List entries - no change
Marking mails as unknown stays in that state after closing and opening MailWasher on the iPhone.

My guess is that at some point the particular addresses were swiped in the direction to designate them as Spam. Then whenever a message comes in from that address they will be marked as Spam until it is changed in the future. I think that this is a FT server side function as opposed to the the BL in MWM. Nick can confirm.

Can you try in our new version in your web browser at http://mailwasher.firetrust.com and setup a new account there, then sync all your accounts/lists to it.

You might need to upgrade to this version of MW Pro to sync IMAP type email accounts
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mail ... 112014.exe

Let me know if you're still seeing the oddities with this. When the new IOS version is released by Apple, you'll be able to login with the same credentials

Installed new version. But still have this problem: http://forum.firetrust.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=15692

Created new account in web browser. Added two email accounts successfully. Both iPad an iPhone return incorrect username/password for new account. await new iOS version.

If it's giving you the incorrect username or password, then please go to the settings and check these and other details are correct. This message is actually from the ISP's mail server if your details are incorrect.

You can't use the scroll wheel on your mouse (it's built for touch screens), instead click and drag the screen down.

Perhaps it because I am on Windows 8 with a touch screen. If I use the touch feature it scrolls :) but my mouse seems to have lost its mojo (whatever that means).

The user name and password is definitely for logging on to the MailWasher account. I logged out on the web browser and logged back in successfully.

I have seen no sign of the new versions on iOS. I shall wait.

Yes, I have a touch screen on Win 8 as well - same deal.

The IOS version is ready to go, it's been approved by Apple, but we just wanted to fix the duplicate emails bug first which we have now. Today we'll release.

Latest version now on my iPad.

Successfully logged into new MailWasher account.

Ran Sync on PC logged in to same account.

Error message: error code 103 Failed, duplicate account

I can manually add an account to the iPad app.

Return to “Mobile for IOS/Android/Windows Phone 8”
