Yes, notifications should be working all ok. You'll need to enable them for each email account in the email account settings though

Notifications working A Ok.

A suggestion for your consideration - default the Notification tick boxes to On.

Ok, yes. They should be on if entering manually, but syncing...We'll take a look

Probably a cockpit problem on my end. I did not need to sync after the install to my guess is that the prior account settings were unchanged e.g. no permissions set.
If you cannot change it on the server side then my suggestion would be to put in a "heads up" note in the forum for the existing users.

Something to take a look at. Not a show stopper.

In the iPad Settings Notification for MWM there is an option to limit the number of notifications to (n). My observation regarding the view on the lock screen is that this is not being honored.

Hmm, thanks. We'll take a look. Yes notifications can get a bit annoying

Ok, I"ve been trying this. I limited it to 1 notification on the lock screen and it seems to be limiting it to 1 notification. then I increased it back to 5 and it's working there too.

The multiple notifications are on the Lock Screen, it appears that the Notification Area does conform. I was under the misconception that the (n) controlled both.

Is there a sound alert embedded in the app? I have the sound setting turned on in notifications.

No the only setting is for notifications, and the mobile platform handles the rest (type of notification)

Does MWM specify the type of notification e.g. New mail?

I see the other notifications but no sound

It's just new email. If you go in to your IOS Settings>>Notifications>>MailWasher, it should let you specify sounds, banners etc
