I suggest the process for adding an account needs Improvement. Just try a few mail apps and see how they do it.

The attached screenshot gives an example of how one of them starts off. I have not had problems adding either Gmail or Outlook.com accounts with other mail apps, but am stuck with Mailwasher - at least I was initially. (The point is, it was more difficult than it should be).

This needs to work a lot better.

I guess we've gone down the route of the General email address, but I'm surprised if you had issues. For example we just ask for the email address and password and it figures out the rest. There is a problem with IMAP on GMail at the moment, so that's not working but we'll fix that today.
