Disable popup on new email
Is there a way to disable the popup that OkInbox generates when a new email arrives?

Re: Disable popup on new email
Hi, not at the moment. They're just the same as the standard Outlook notifications which we had to replace, but we'll add the option in there pretty soon as I imagine people will want that. We'll have a new update shortly which improves performance amongst other things, then we'll get on to notification customizations etc.
Actually if you feel so inclined to edit the registry, the settings to turn them off and on are in there
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Firetrust\OkInbox
I'll just find out what to change them to....

Re: Disable popup on new email
from the developer:
Unfortunately, disabling new mail notifications is not currently provided.
However, you can do the following:
- Set parameters NotifierTop in the Registry, NotifierLeft so that window to appear off-screen. For example NotifierTop=-32000, NotifierLeft=-32000.
- Turn off the system sound "New Mail Notification": Control
panel>Sound>Sounds tab>Windows>New Mail Notification (it is for Windows
XP, for other versions almost as well).
- Disabling icon, overlay icon not available.

Re: Disable popup on new email
Hi, we've got a new version on the website at http://www.firetrust.com/en/products/ok ... d/download
While it doesn't have settings in the user interface to change the notifications you can now alter these in the registry.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Firetrust\OkInbox
Digest notifier turned off by default. (\Software\Firetrust\OkInbox, key ShowDigestNotifier).
If you change this valueto 1, digest notifier will appear only when the digest is placed in the inbox.
New mail notifier also can be turned off (value ShowNewMailNotifier).

Re: Disable popup on new email
Yep, it would be nice to have such option included into the application asap.
The registry trick removes the popup but in my case it doesn't affect the envelope placed on the Outlook icon in the taskbar. So it looks like I have new mail all the time...
I guess it is because you relied with your notifications on Outlook built-in ones.
The idea is great but it needs some polishing

Yes, we'll add those in there soon. We actually had to replace the Outlook notifications with our own.
