Window corrupted on laptop

Mon Jul 29, 2019 2:47 pm

I'm liking Hideaway :bow

On my laptop running Win7 32bit some of the info on the Hideaway window is partly hidden and cramped up. There are vertical and horizontal sliders that seem to change a little bit every few seconds, but in any case they're no help. There's also what looks like the word "arrow" in orange in the Redirect and Location boxes. Would it be possible to make the window resizable or just smaller because it seems huge considering what's in it?

My other laptop runs Win8.1 64 bit and Hideaway on it looks OK, though the window is still too big IMHO :)

Hi there

What service pack do you have installed on Windows 7? If you go to Control Panel>>System, it should tell you.

Odd that the icons don't load, they come from Google directly.

The window does resize, but the fonts dont, so we'll look at changing that (small, medium, large)

Win 7 Pro, 32bit, Service Pack 1

The icons might be being blocked by my firewall s/w, but I have only seen messages related to Hideaway when it gets updated, not any other blocked access attempts.

Regarding resizing: Yes, I see now that it can be resized. The cursor position is critical, one pixel either way and I don't see the arrow

We're going to work on the user interface and reduce the white space padding a bit, and make the fonts changeable size wise. We've just got the rest of it to do to add rules etc.
