Gmail and Mailwasher
Today I purchased a HideAway subscription. Just for fun, I routed all traffic through Kansas City. Immediately I got an email from Google about a possible unauthorised attempt to access my account. However it did not block my account and I was able to send and receive a message to my Gmail account using Outllook and Office365. However Mailwasher reported an inability to access my Gmail. I turned off the Kansas City rule and turned back on the London rule. Immediately Mailwasher could and did access my email account and download the test emails. Why would Mailwasher act in this way?

It's a GMail feature, though I also wonder why Outlook didn't give you issues. Flick me some logs, go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter chris as the Ticket Number near the bottom >> Send Logs.
Cheers.

MailWasher got thrown an error, asking for a web logon. Which would be expected when you start jumping countries with Gmail, but still puzzling why Outlook was fine
Is Outlook using IMAP or POP ?
The S: is the server responding, the C: is MailWasher

Presumably to stop the error too, set to Kansas, log into GMail from web, then MW ought to work.
My current MailWasher beta uses a different method for GMail logons, so I can't test it right now to be sure.

Re: Gmail and Mailwasher
I have noted that I should log into gmail from the web if I change in HideAway how my internet is routed. Thanks for the tip.
