HideAway does not work on Windows 10, the icon appears in the system tray but upon clicking the icon it just closes and you cannot get to the graphical user interface.

Yeah apparently you need to uninstall, restart PC and install again, which is a little annoying. My machine refuses to update to 10 right now even if I try and force it.

Yes...Updating seems to muck something up. I had another user with this and he uninstalled, restart PC, re-install (twice) and then it worked. I had some similar problems yesterday and they came right after a restart.
Not ideal at all, trying to see if it only happens on a version which had hideaway installed prior

I'll give that a go later when my PC is not busy.
Edit: That seemed to have done the trick, I'll have to remember to uninstall hideaway on my main PC before upgrading it in November.

Just upgraded to Win10. Didn't migrate so uninstalled it and reinstalled. Program launched and appeared OK, but crashed and exited. Will not run.
Firetrust, is there patch for this? Since it's a newish App and I've just sprung $50 on it, I sincerely hope so...

Still trying to work this one out and having trouble replicating it. Restarting your PC seems to fix it. If that doesn't work, uninstall, restart your PC, then install Hideaway again and restart your PC. Did that help?

So HideAway still doesn't work with Windows 10? I purchased HideAway soon after release but haven't used it. Since then I've upgraded from Win 8.1 to 10. Decided to give HideAway a try this evening. No joy. Uninstalled it, restarted PC and reinstalled latest version of HideAway. Program opened this time, but crashed (twice) as soon as browsing began in Chrome.
Looking forward to a fix.

HA is working fine here under Windows 10 (10565), I have also had it working under Wondows 10 (10240) as well.
Maybe you could describe the errors you are getting in more detail so that FT can looking why you are having issues.

Some users have had issues after upgrading to Windows 10 if they had Hideaway working in a previous version of Windows. Can you try and uninstall it again, restart your computer (this is important), then install HideAway and it should work from then on.

Thanks, but when I started my PC the following morning (yesterday) HA appeared to be working perfectly. (I had to re-enter my licence key.) So no further crashes since 19th. Seems all is well now.

Thanks for letting us know. Yes, it does require a restart after uninstall, then install.
