This morning when I started my PC the internet was down and so I needed to restart the modem.

When things came back up, things like Skype recovered correctly, but HideAway seemed to be stuck trying to authenticate. The only way to fix it was to shutdown HideAway.

Could HideAway be fixed so that it recovers from situations like this automatically.

Will ask programmer about that, thought we'd done this already but perhaps we just added a delay for machines where the net was slower to connect.

Yes I've also noticed this behavior in similar scenarios.
It's true, other apps such as Skype, Dropbox, OneDrive etc etc do recover automatically. I assume a code injection would be necessary for resolution.
Fine tuning, attention to detail is always a positive approach.
