I have just installed HideAway and now when I try to use Google Chrome after setting up a traffic rule for it, it will crash soon after.
What am I doing wrong ? :(

I forgot to add that I am using Windows 10 and using Mailwasher Pro. I have also found that Facebook crashes when using HA. So far I am not happy with it. I hope that it is just a simple fix.

Hi there

What version Chrome are you using ? You can see that under Help >> About.
Also are you running any extensions/add ons that are related to redirecting traffic like HideAway does.

Also when you say Facebook crashes, you're referring to the Facebook App in Win10 ?

Checked Chrome and it was Version 48.0.2564.116 m and then it updated itself to Version 49.0.2623.75 m
I don't have any extensions used for redirecting traffic that I know of which operate like HA.
I think the Facebook installed with windows 10 during the upgrade from Windows 8.1
Additionally since Chrome has now updated itself to Version 49.0.2623.75 m, the crashes so far seem to have stopped !
Hopefully the Chrome update was the problem !
Many thanks for your support. if anymore problems will let you know.

OK great, not what I was expecting, but glad they're both sorted now.

Thanks. Strange that the Chrome update seems to have sorted the problems out though. Maybe they knew it was causing problems.

Yeah, hopefully so.

If any other programs are/start doing similar things then consider a .NET Repair https://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/downloa ... x?id=30135 then
System File Scan https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

But fingers crossed all things behave as expected.
