Re: Servers Down
It is either KB3179573 or KB3172605, I tried to reproduce the problem but it seems after reinstalling Hideaway the fix is permanent. No big deal at this point, the updates are installed and Hideaway is working. The admin might want make note of this issue for future reference. Thanks

Couldn't have been the same for me as I don't have those updates installed.oldgeek wrote:It is either KB3179573 or KB3172605, I tried to reproduce the problem but it seems after reinstalling Hideaway the fix is permanent. Re: Servers Down
Seriously, guys, this is starting to be a problem. I have had servers down nearly every day for the past ten days so that when I start up Hideawy tells me x number of my rules are not working. Now it is Switzerland and Dallas. Switzerland has been down more than it has been up recently and becasue thats where I live I have a few sites where I need to been seen as a local. I hope you can fix this stability issue quickly.

Re: Servers Down
Agreed, it's been a hard to fix issue and we'll hopefully have a resolution soon. In the meantime, the servers are up again. We've not had Switzerland down for a long time though, so I'm not sure how you're seeing it's down.

Re: Servers Down
Nick, thanks for the response. It's strange. The attachments I am posting were shot two minutes ago. HideAway tells me that some of my rules can't run becasue the servers are down. I look at my rules (Attachment 1) and sure enough some rules show as not able to run. Then I ping the servers (attachment 2) and show that the servers respond present, yet my rules don't run.

Re: Servers Down
That's odd. What happens if you restart Hideaway?
I've restarted the Swiss server anyway, let me know if that works first.

Re: Servers Down
If by restart you mean log out and back in again, here's the result.

Re: Servers Down
Can you remove the http:// from your DNS rules. They should only have for example 'domain.com'

Re: Servers Down
Done in all cases. It made no difference. The only way I can get the Swiss rule to hold is to turn the rule off and turn it back on again. However, when I reboot it goes back to saying the rule can't run and stays that way until I turn the rule Off/On.

Re: Servers Down
Yes, I've give that a try. It might have gotten in to some weird state that we've not seen before.
