Today I can't access the internet if Hideaway 2.01 beta is set to redirect either at a browser or whole computer level. The message I get is "The connection was reset"

I've reinstalled the software twice with the same results - no access if Hideaway is running.

Can't seem to re-install Hideaway 1.4 - asks to insert disk, which of course I don't have.

Does it matter which server you select in HideAway 2 ?

Also with HA 1, have you tried uninstalling first, or that message appearing on uninstall ?

Yup, uninstalled and happens on the reinstall. Now I'm a bit screwed because I had to use task manager to stop the 1.4 install and now can't reinstall altogether.

Should be sorted now, there was some maintenance and the servers didn't restart afterwards.

As for HA1 >> is the message asking for the location of hadriver.sys ?

Great. HA 2.01 seems to be working now.

Of course I tried to install HA 1.4 and don't get the error now.


FYI - when I reinstalled and started HA 2.01 again, redirecting to Firefox / London, iPlayer said I was outside of the UK. When I then directed whole computer / London, I could play iPlayer.

Looks like London and Paris aren't accessible in HA 2.01. Can't get a page to load when redirecting to those.

Will look into London, Paris has been removed though as we were having issues with the host.
