IS there a command line way of starting Hideaway so that I can put it into the start up folder?
Obviously need some method of defining the options but that could be what was last setup using the GUI.
Thanks...

Re: Command Line Start for Hideaway
The shortcut links to C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\HideAway\HideAway.exe
But it's probably easier to find Hideaway in the start menu, right click and select 'open file location', then copy that to your start folder, or make another shortcut and place that in the startup folder.
We'll add in an option to start with Windows in the near future.

Actually, this might be easier to copy/paste
%LOCALAPPDATA%\HideAway then create shortcut of HideAway.exe

Nick,
Thanks...
I understand putting the shortcut in will fire up Hideaway but can command line options be added so it automatically starts a redirect with particular options and minimsed.

Ah I see. We discussed that today, it's not implemented yet, but we'll add it in.

Re: Command Line Start for Hideaway
Been a while since I asked the original question so has there been any progress ...
I have been running Nordvpn for a while which has a startup sequence but have come back to check Firestrust out.
I would like to start Hideaway with command line options so it automatically starts a redirect with particular options and minimsed.
Thanks Guys...

Re: Command Line Start for Hideaway
Sorry not yet, it is still coming so you'll be able to setup rules and then have them auto-start with Windows.
We're adding in video streaming for popular streaming platforms next, then the new user interface and that will allow you to do all this. I'm hopeful for sometime in January/February.

Hi,
Sorry we spent way too long getting streaming video working - which we've tentatively put on the back burner, so we're doing the new user interface which will allow for auto start with windows and your rules also to run
