HA 4 Local Printer not working
Sorry to say V4 has not cured my inability to print. What info can I send you that might help?

Re: HA 4 Local Printer not working
Yes definitely will. It's working in the filters, so must be an issue in the software driver we think.

@Toasty, do you know the IP address your printer is working on?
@Andrew42, what about yours?

I changed 192.168.1.30 (a HP JetDirect card in a HP 6mp laser) and router static address to 192.168.1.106 to match Andrew - I could ping it, but it would NOT print! Swapped back to 192.168.1.30 and it spit out the spooled pages. Hopefully this helps!
Re: HA 4 Local Printer not working
Nick, two printers: one at 192.168.1.30, the other at 192.168.1.22. Both would not work with previous version but do work with V4.nick.bolton wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 10:30 pm@Toasty, do you know the IP address your printer is working on?

Re: HA 4 Local Printer not working
I reinstalled my printer driver and that fixed the issue for me. Not ideal as I can't seem to replicate the issue anymore.
If you just redirect your web browser, does it prevent printing? Or is it only when 'All Computer' is redirected?

Re: HA 4 Local Printer not working
Nick, following your message and my getting back I started HA to check what you requested. The system downloaded 4.1 and now the printer is working as it should with HA redirecting the whole computer which is how I normally use it pending the return of rules.
I will continue to monitor but as of now everything is fine. Thanks you.

Re: HA 4 Local Printer not working
I spoke too soon. I can print but not scan.
I have an HP Officejet Pro 6970 at home. When 4.0 first came out I could not print with HA running. Now, with 4.1, I can print with HA running and All Computer set to London but I cannot scan. If I shut down HA I can immediately scan. I do not have to re-boot or do anything except click "Stop Hideaway".
As a test I tried to run HP Printer and Scan Doctor but the software would not connect to my printer with HA running. The moment I shut down HA the print and scan doctor connected with my printer and went through it's tests. It said it had found and corrected some issues but they have made no difference.
My IP address is still 192.168.1.106
Let me know if you need any other info.
