V4 does not start

There is no browaer.log file

Today I downloaded and installed HideAway-4.1.2-setup.exe.
It installed, but I didn't get the HideAway Setup window.
It gave a window telling that the program was installing and
after that two other small windows. And then the installation
finished
Starting the HideAway logo on the desktop started the
program but presented nothing and didn't work at all.

Before the installation I removed all ocurences to HideAway
from the system (Windows 10 with all updates).

Apparently I have the same problem as Teljeur

What can I do???

Hi

Could you please send us the log files. Go to Start, type RUN, click enter and a box will appear. Enter
%appdata%
Then click enter
A window will pop up, go to the Hideaway folder and send us the log.log file.

Also, go back to Start>>Run and type %LOCALAPPDATA%\HideAway\ and click enter
Then send us the SquirrelSetup.log file.

Actually it looks like your problem is a bit different.

The Hideaway driver can't install for some reason. What antivirus program are you running? Can you allow HideAway through your Antivirus and then try and install HideAway again.
I hope the antivirus is not blocking HideAway as our driver is signed by Microsoft.

Same story for me, attaching squirrel file.

I used version 3 with no problems.

I use Norton Internet security.

I updated the Firewall to allow for HideAway.
