How to tell if HideAway is working

I just installed the trial on my computer, and I typed in "what's my IP address into my search bar, with it both running and not running. The IP addresses were the same. I hit the refresh/reload button on my Firefox, but that did not seem to resolve the issue. Am I missing something? Are there other tests I can do?

After starting HideAway, try restarting the browser and see if that picks it up.

I shut down the browser and waited 10 minutes, and now it seems to be working fine. I purchased a license after that.

It should hopefully just need a restart, rather than waiting that long. Out of curiosity, which browser are you using ?

Thanks. Sometimes Google Chrome will hold on to the existing connection for up to 30 seconds. We do try and clear the cache when HideAway starts a redirect.

Can you go to Start, type Run, and then in the box that appears, type %appdata%
This will bring up a window. Go to the HideAway folder, and in there please send me the log.log file.
