Tenplay geoblocking Sydney

I have HA set to all computer, Sydney (where I really am), but Tenplay is totally blocking me. Maybe it thinks I'm in NZ?

I am in Australia but a very long way from you and recently ABC blocked me when i selected sydney in HA

Something has changed in the last few days and that "brightcove" thing is causing problems on 7plus also from memory a few days ago

maybe try different browsers... clean out browser cache etc?

I always check my ip on ipinfo.io when connected just to make sure.

I will keep an eye on it also

Sorry for the late reply, it's likely that our Sydney host has been blocked by 10play. We're coming out with a better solution soon for things like this. Can you give the Perth server a try instead and see if that works?

nick - Same story with All Computer / Perth selected.

g6radio - I flushed my FireFox cache and cookies, but no change. I mentioned in a previous topic that some websites I visit which have IP and location displayed are showing me as being in Auckland NZ, but I mostly use Perth or Sydney. I thought maybe they are seeing that it's HideAway VPN thus deducing NZ, but I dunno.

Have you tried 7plus? like motor bike cops or similar program?

If not maybe try that... i had problems last wednesday with sydney selected in HA and motor bike cops.

That "brightcove-player-show-div" in your screenshot might be part of the problem?

maybe that checks IP etc?

Another thing to check is, if your web browser is set to allow location access for that website. It might have been previously set.

Ok, I signed up and yes it's blocked. Brightcove is a company which protects against VPNs with geoblocking. As I mentioned, we'll be implemeting something to get around this in the next few weeks.

No problem viewing anything I tried there, very open, surprisingly so. I immediately went to 10play, but still blocked there. Both using Brightcove as you say. Just have to wait and see.
