mDNS being blocked on local network
With HideAway connected my scanner software cannot find my scanner which is connected through wifi. Disconnect HA and it appears (happy, happy, joy, joy). VueScan support say HA must be blocking mDNS. I've only just struck this oddness as I now have HA set to start with Windows. I'm surprised anything within the local network is blocked by HA

Re: mDNS being blocked on local network
Hi,
I'll need to check with developers, but we do allow all local traffic.
Multicast DNS (mDNS) is on
IPv4 address 224.0.0.251 or IPv6 address ff02::fb
UDP port 5353
It would be simple enough to add in as an exception

Re: mDNS being blocked on local network
We'll add it in the next version. Had another user with a scanner issue ages ago and we could never figure it out, so it's nice to sort that one out finally.
