14.4.0 crashes

Since today's (maybe yesterday's) update to 14.4.0 Hideaway is crashing frequently.
The crash is "Hideaway has stopped working" and then Windows kills it.

Hi there, we've found an issue with this latest version which affects a few people (5 now).
Download and install this version.
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/hide ... -setup.exe
Make sure the old HideAway is not running (right click in the system tray), then run the installer for this new version. Seems it fixes it for people who had this issue.

It auto updated to 4.14.1 today should I still do this update you offered?

No, the auto-update is the same version so just ignore this one.

Hi, In my PC after 14.4.0 update I just see white splash screen only. Even this new 14.4.1 update doing the same thing. Please help me. Thanks!

Ok...we've had one other person with this issue. Does it still happen after you restart your PC?

Yes it crashes for me as well, tried uninstalling & reinstalling, still not working.

Could you please send us the logs. [Edited it here incase you saw the previous one]
Go to Start, type RUN, click enter and then type
%APPDATA%\HideAway
and send/pm me the log.log file. Thanks!

Sorry about it, seems it only happened to a few people but is from an update to the user interface code.

Latest automatic update when opening HideAway is showing as v4.14.1 yet the changelog shows latest version being v4.14.2, is the programme running the latest version, or is it the latest version with a bug showing v4.14.1. Thanks

They're both relevant, the only change is that 4.14.2 fixes the error that a few users had with a white screen showing when they started HideAway. We didn't bother auto-updating everyone as we seem to have fixed it for the people concerned.
