2 year licence a week old continues to fail, tried a year free one & it fails too - Only on one Windows 10 PC - Thanks

Same here. v4.16.8
My license expires in July 2022, but Hideaway keeps reporting License failed.
Hope it gets fixed soon.
This is the 3rd time it has happened to me

I'm getting the same thing ... uninstalled and reinstalled and it works on the trial version but won't let me activate the key now. The error response is Kaboom! followed by API error https://hideaway.firetrust.com/keys: (504)

Having the same License issues too, I have got a life time License for Hideaway too. Hopefully Nick & the rest of the team are on the case to fix the problem. Maybe Version 5 of Hideaway is on it's way.

Version 5 won't have this issue, it will only check when it's first used. Version 5 still coming soon But it's seriously not far off, just last bits.

i know that it's been mentioned that version 5 will fix the licensing problem, will it fix it for the trial version that i got for a year?, i still have eleven months to go and was quite impressed with the program, until it suddenly started to throw up the "kaboom!" thingy......!

I have HideAway v4.16.8 on Win 10 and haven't faced any license issue yet.

I use Comodo Firewall and have disabled Windows Firewall and Defender.

It could be your Firewall interfering with HideAway.

looks all ok now, i've enabled the "updater.exe" through the firewall (private firewall) and it's back to normal, so it's either that or it's been fixed at the other end...!
