Major Malfunction

Hi
All day yesterday I was fighting "Performing a TLS Handshake" slowing or completely halting loading of sites or links within. Disabling H.A. cured the problem. After a PC reboot this A.M. things seemed a bit better until H.A. suddenly disconnected.I reconnected and I don't have internet which is where I sit now.

Hi, sorry about this. One of our major hosts suspended lots of our servers because someone managed to get around things and download lots of episodes of Peppa Pig which triggered lots of DCMA violations. We're trying to sort it out now, but if you want to connect to the below for now, they'll work.

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Vancouver Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finaldn, Dusseldorf Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, New Zealand, Spain, Swedem Switzerland, Ukraine, Jacksonvile USA

Not even going to try to understand "someone managed to get around things" as one of the things people use a vpn for is to "get around things" but, I'm up again so good luck fixing it

Thanks Nick

Actually, it's kind of alarming, I thought all my activities are encrypted end to end and untraceable. Are we not totally secured using the VPN? :scratch

I find it alarming too. USA is still mostly bad today, What is going on?
I tried some European server but then some web sites said that they block Europe. Also my Gmail is not happy.

I've reverted to Mullvad at least for the time being, some proper explanation would be appreciated as I find the whole situation to be of some concern - I cannot just revert from UK to a server in another country as it messes local content up totally - It's OK for an hour or two but this has gone on longer P

Really sorry for the situation - we're back up and running - had to get a lot of new hosts which is not that easy on the weekend.

Restart HideAway and you'll get version 4.17.0
Seattle and Atlanta are no longer there, but Dubai is new. We'll get new hosts for Seattle and Atlanta.

Can you restart again (make sure it's shut down - right click in system tray and select Quit), it should download the new version and restart.

I just checked and it's working.

Yeah really sorry, our host for a lot of our servers received a whole bunch of abuse complaints so they suspended all our servers, they were really slow to reply and eventually said they'll re-enable them, but hadn't this morning, so had to find new hosts and get everything setup again.
