Can Mailwasher Pro process legacy email inbox

I know Mailwasher Pro cleans up new emails arriving in my inbox, but can it be used to remove old legacy spam currently sitting in my inbox?

Yes it can, if you're connecting and downloading your email with IMAP, in Settings>>Accounts>>Incoming>>Advanced, change the download period to 'All'
