HideAway & Starbucks or other open Wifi

I guess you can guess what my question is.
I want to use the open Wifi in a hotel or Starbucks .
Is HideAway appropriate for use in those situations ?

Yes, definitely. Any reputable website will have their passwords encrypted anyway.
