Hideaway not working?

Hideaway is having a problem with all of my shortcuts, I cannot access any of them, the little cursor just goes round and round but doesnt connect, I even had problems with this forum, I could not connect unless I disconnect Hideaway. Please advise.

Should be fixed now, but we might have some more temporary outages as the disk is failing so we need to migrate to some new server.

Was this Toronto? We had to take it down as someone was using torrents with it and causing lots of DMCA complaints, just trying to sort out that a the moment so it doesn't get suspended in the future.

Nope this was London, using bitdefender vpn at the moment because I cannot even connect to you with Hideaway on.

Seems odd, as it's working properly and we've not had any other users complain. Can you uninstall, restart your PC and then install HideAway again. I wonder if some update has interfered with HideAway

This is disappointing, did as you instructed but now cannot dl the new Hideaway. It says Code execution. ffmpeg.dll was not found. contact the author. Had high hopes this time. Thank you for trying though.

Odd, here's the ffmpeg.dll file to download. https://25fc482ddf92aa413bac-f38e90dc86 ... ffmpeg.dll

If you go to Windows>>Start. Type 'run' and press enter.

Then type
%localappdata%\HideAway\app-4.20.4

and press enter, it will open a folder. Add the file ffmpeg.dll in to there.

Start HideAway

I think I am getting in deeper with this problem, I did as you instructed but the link you sent would not dl because "it may cause harm to my pc." I tried dragging it over but did nothing to Hideaway. Still the same problem, with HA connected I cannot get my shortcuts to work, little circle just goes round and round, disconnect HA and up they all come. As rustic dog can probably confirm I am not tech savvy and do not feel confident about pressing this that and the other but this problem is really frustrating, I still have a year to go on my subscription.
