Hi all. I have forgotten my password for Mailwasher Pro, subsequently I cannot get to view my emails on Outlook. Any ideas how i can find it or change it. I`m using Windows 10 and Outlook 2010. Whatever password I try it just comes up with, cannot log in to server.

Hi there

Try running the attached. In the ZIP file is show_pass.exe >> run this hit the Refresh button >> it should display your passwords as they've been setup in the email programs.

It won`t let me run it, this is what comes up on screen.
The programme can`t start because accexp.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the programme to fix this problem

OK, that DLL file is included in the ZIP. So maybe save/extract the ZIP file to your desktop first.

I`ve managed to extract it and it shows the password but when i put in the password it states cannot connect to the server. When i check my mail in Mailwasher Pro, it comes up with an error in the event log, "failed to log into Pop 3 server".

While there might well be other reasons for the login failure — both the passwords (MWP and Outlook) need to match the password (and Username,) originally used on your web server.

The MWP password has no bearing on whether mails would be able to be viewed on Outlook, or not — MWP and Outlook ping, authenticate & handshake with the web server independently.

i can view it when I go to outlook. MPW says failed to log in to Pop 3 Server. I have had problems with remembering passwords, so I deleted MWP & reinstalled it.
