My system:
Win 10, MW version 7.11.5, ISP: 1und1.de, POP3, SMTP is 587, trying with SMTP 465 did not solve the problem.
Sending emails with SMTP didn't work.
Sending and retrieving emails aside of my problem works well.
It seems to be a problem with SMTP?
Is it helpful to send log files ?
Can anyone help?
Thank you!

Yeah, I'm about to disappear for a couple of days, but you can email support@firetrust.com
Double check first are using the settings they recommend here https://help.1and1.com/e-mail-and-offic ... 16889.html although it sounds like you already have been through those.

Re: Restoring deleted emails from the recycling bin does not work: SOLVED!
"Yes, it appears you may need to enabled TLS for outgoing mail there...? this from your restore log:
Failed to read TLS record
In MWPro 7 click, Settings>>Accounts, click the account you want to restore mail from, click the Outgoing tab, click Advanced, click the "Secure Connection" button and select TLS
Ensure that the server port number remains at 587
Click, Save."
I did so and everything is fine.
Many thanks to Jeremy!
