I have been using MW Free for several years and it has always worked great.
Recently, MW has stopped downloading emails. At first I was getting Unknown Error message.
Now it will check emails, find 26, but will only download one at a time. Each time I click check mail, it downloads another. It also takes several minutes to download the one email. It sits at, "found 26 messages (total 26)", then it finally changes to "downloading 3 of 26", and downloads one more, and so on.
I have unckecked Pipelining and Store cached emails. It has made no difference.
I uninstalled and reinstalled, it did not fix the issue.
Here is the error I get at times.
Description: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

Hi there
Flick me some logs. Go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'not downloading' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs.
Reply back once sent, so I know to be on the lookout for them.
Thanks
Chris

Just to add, this very much sounds like the PIPELINING may still be enabled, so just be sure that is disabled for all accounts when Checking Mail.

OK, not seeing them, that's OK, instead if you go into Help >> User Files >> look for autosupport.eml and if you can send me that as an attachment to forum@firetrust.com

Re: MailWasher Free Stopped Downloading Emails
It looks like it might be an email MW doesn't like.
First thing I would try, under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> change your server address to mail.twc.com >> click Advanced >> check the option "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" >> Save. This is just to get your settings in line with what's recommended and added SSL is a more secure connection.

When you use mail.twc.com you also need to be sure your username if your full email address, you already have that now, just mentioning it just in case.
If that doesn't work, try removing the account >> restart MailWasher >> then add the account back.

Re: MailWasher Free Stopped Downloading Emails
OK, thanks. I already deleted all the emails off TWC mail website, so I will see how changing the server name goes.
After changing it, it seemed to work OK.
Thanks again, I'll let you know.

Looks like changing the POP server worked.
I'm thinking Spectrum/TWC changed something and didn't notify.
Thanks again.
