Hi. I have been using Mailwasher for many years and, in the past, I remember having a problem where a new instance of Outlook would open whenever I washed mail. So I switched that off. When I bought the version 7 Pro, it started working properly again, which was great. However, yesterday, without installing any new version of MW or changing any settings in it, it started the old bug of opening a new instance every time. I also noted at the same time that Outlook 2016, which had been in the list of Email programs in the Wash Mail Settings when I installed it, is no longer listed. If I add it manually by using the browse button, it opens a new instance every time.
Does anybody have a solution to this? I am running version 7.11.5 and Outlook 2016 is my default mail client.
Cheers,
Kevin

Re: Not identifying Outlook 2016
Hi Kevin
If you go into Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> left click in the field where you have manually chosen Outlook, press the END key, or Arrow across to very end >> add a space then /recycle to the end of the target path >> Save.
I don't have an Outlook 2016 install handy, but expect it would look something like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16/outlook.exe" /recycle

Re: Not identifying Outlook 2016
Thanks for the answer. I had tried that before and got an error message. I just tried it again and it works. Thanks.
