to be or not to be
Using MW v7.11... here's my conundrum... The only way to be able to click on a link in an email received and viewed in MW and have it open a new browser tab is to have the program run as an administrator. When I set this mode, it refuses to run at boot up even when configured to do so. If I remove "run as administrator", it will open at boot up, but not respond to clicking on links and open a new browser tab

Re: to be or not to be
So if MW is not set to run as admin, it opens links in an existing tab ?
What browser are you using ?

What about links you open from your email program, do they too open in existing tab ?
First, check in Firefox under Tools >> Options >> in TABS section "Open links in tabs instead of new windows" is set.
Assuming so, then go the webpage about:config in Firefox, click that you'll be careful....then in the Search enter in browser.link to list the relevant options.
browser.link.open_newwindow should be set to 3
browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external should be set to -1 or 3

1) was already set to "Open links in tabs instead of new windows"
2) "browser.link.open_newwindow should be set to 3" was at 1, changed it to 3
3) "browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external should be set to -1 or 3" was already set to 3
Links from my email program open in new tabs
I'll see what happens.

Re: to be or not to be
Are the links you click in emails when viewing them in HTML mode only ? Or regular plain text links do the same ?
