Hi
I've been having problems with the above all morning. One minute it works normally, the next the program freezes. The Hideaway window if minimised can't be unminimised. If the Hideaway window is not minimised, when the program freezes the window itself is unresponsive and it is not possible to disconnect - the only solution is to go into task manager and end task it.
I am running Windows 10 Pro 1909 and until today I have had few problems with Hideaway and certainly no prior freezing.

If this is a recent problem, can you check if there were any Windows updates or perhaps your antivirus is interfering with Hideaway?
Does a Windows restart fix it?

Re: HideAway version 4.10.2
I turned off Kaspersky Total Security and within an hour the program crashed again - I can tell when it happens as all my internet connections stop responding.
Yesterday it worked fine, today it's unusable.
I have windows updates paused - I don't want Windows 10 2004, and no other program has been updated in the last 24 hours.
The first time Hideaway crashed I did a full reboot, but the past three times I have just end tasked.
I'm puzzled.

Ok, from our experience it's likely to be Kaspersky. Even if you disable Kaspersky it's not really disabled - but in the past it's only interfered with some of the redirections.
I'd try uninstalling HideAway, restart your PC and then re-install HideAway as Kaspersky might have done something to the HideAway driver.

I followed your instructions but the problem persisted - until the program updated itself - then everything went back to normal.
