When you use "add domain to blacklist" does this include both sides of the address, i.e. 12345.gmail?

When you use "add domain to blacklist" does this include both "sides" of the "dot?" I have noticed we are now getting spammers that are using xxxxxx.gmail.com. As you most likely know, Gmail is a major e-mail platform and I don't want to "blacklist" known e-mail contacts that use Gmail. I hope I haven't blacklisted my Gmail friends by accident...

Yes, blacklisting by Domain will add everything after the @
So if the email address was [email protected] then 12345.gmail.com would be added to the list.

Thanks Rustidog, I'm 75 and not a very good understanding all the nuances or the vocabulary... Thanks for your help.

No problem, any further questions just let us know.

If you do happen to accidentally blacklist @gmail.com if you have specific email addresses on the Friends List they will take precedence.
e.g. if [email protected] was on your Friends List and *@gmail.com was on your Blacklist, then an email from that address would come through as Friend.
