restoring message-newbie needs help

When I restore a message I get a "Global Smtp error com=nnection timed out possibly due to a firewall" message. I turned off firewall and it still doesn't restore. Is there anything else I can try?

Sounds like you may not have the advanced settings for the smtp server set properly, carefully compare them to the settings that you have in your mail program.

If that doesn't work consider getting a GMail account and restoring to its SMTP server, that bypasses a bunch of ISP problems.
