And I appreciate the Texas Language one as well. As for the “Go Cowboys!” ... All I can say is if they would “Go Elsewhere!” it’d make the state a whole lot better!
Awwww. I've been a Dallas Cowboy fan for a long time. I'm sure that if they win the SB this year, they will make you proud :bow
QuietOne wrote:Sounds like you and I have something in common. We both sound like we get tired of the “same old, same old“ all of the time. That’s why I’m collecting all the .wav files so I can change my mail announcements regularly.
Yes, I like to change it up every now and then. There is no doubt about it when I get an email :D
QuietOne wrote:Now all I’ve gotta do is convince FT to add a randomizer capability into the sound file playing code. Sound like a winner to you and/or anybody else? If so, join the campaign. :thumbsup
Now THAT would be cool....after the "preview" button of course :o

Does anyone have any problems with the sound not working all the time when mail comes in? Sometimes I hear sounds and sometimes I don't. :facepalm

As long as you have the sound settings set properly and remember to put another window over the top of MW's window you'll hear the sound.

If MW is the top window it makes the assumption that you have nothing better to do than to stare mindlessly at the screen for hours waiting for new mail and doesn't make the sound.

Lol....MWP's "assumption" is a bad one and I told it so :rant Honestly, the program is sitting in the lower right of the task bar where it normally sits. I sent myself an email from a different email address and it came in with no sound. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Any other assumptions I may be missing?

This is really off topic for this thread on sharing sounds, if you want to start one of your own maybe some others will chip in.
