Re: IOS - iPhone, iPad, iPod - MailWasher Beta test
I just downloaded and installed version 02.
A couple of issues.
First, when entering the account username, a different keyboard is presented. Now for my account the username is my full e-mail address, however the keyboard presented does not include the @ symbol. I used my e-mail address as my account identifier so was able to copy and paste it to the username.
The second is that as before the only way to get rid of messages that have been processed and deleted by my computer is by marking them for deletion on the iPhone and then washing.
As you say, it is beta so no great problem, just letting you know.

If you go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts, you can set up a couple of keystrokes for entering an email address. I used "@@".

Thanks for the info on the username completion field - good idea.
As to the emails not being deleted in iPhone, I can't replicate this so I'm guessing it's a timing issue as remember that it's only checking every 3 minutes in the background, so if you wait a bit longer then check mail again in iPhone you should see them being deleted.

They aren't being cleared on the iPad after waiting substantially longer than three minutes after they've been deleted in Mail. It still requires manually ticking and a wash.
You can use the same shortcut process for any repetitive entries that you make. For me, it was really handy for entering an email address.

I wonder if they're being cached... what version of IOS do you have on the iPad?

We've just added a version number in the settings. It should say V0.03 (we had to increase the version number to do this). Can you check you're running this version

Ok, we made a server side change. Can you re-start the app and try again? Incase you don't know how, double click the home button, it will show the running apps, hold your finger on the app until it wobbles, then press it to close.

Re: IOS - iPhone, iPad, iPod - MailWasher Beta test
I did a restart with no apparent effect so I powered the iPad off, powered on, and did another restart.
The message is no longer in Mail.
Did both a "Check" and a " Wash".
The message remains until I check mark it and do a wash.
I waited approximately ten minutes from the time I deleted the message in Mail and the MWM test.
I don't think it's a lag between Mail and the ISP because a message is gone promptly from the desktop computer when I've deleted a message using Mail.

Messages deleted in Mail cleared when I did a Check thos morning. VBG
I do have two View/Friend/Block bars under the Checl/Wash bar. I got rid of them by doing a restart. I've sent a screen shot via email.

Thanks, we can replicate that problem here. It looks like it's something to do with the last email in the grid.
Still not sure why emails were still appearing after they've been deleted via the email client. They're obviously no longer on the server.
We're also now increased the number of emails downloaded to 100.

Re: IOS - iPhone, iPad, iPod - MailWasher Beta test
I have an iPad2 & an iPhone 4s. I installed on the iPad. What is the difference between the iPad zip & the iPhone zip? Since the file names are the same, how do I install for the iPhone? Do I use the same file, or do I add (and overwrite) the iPad file (MailWasher.ipa)? Do I just upload the additional mobileprovision for the iPhone?

The .ipa file is the same, but you need to put the correct .mobileprovision file in the respective device.
