Urgent Help required

Have had to add another email account to my existing setup and SUDDENLY my Gmail account is downloading mail from 2007 and 2006. Killed it for now but need assistance - What the **** have I done?

Unfortunately I am back. Having configured my Gmail a/c so that it actually worked properly I then imported it into MSGTAG and this is what I received:

Task 'Gmail - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'

Can someone explain, simply, what is happening?

I have no idea what I have done however all is well again except me - Blinding headache having changed sooooo many parameters - Thanks
