Hello, new to forum have used MailWasher Pro for some time but do not understand everything.
My normal default pop3 account from from my ISP works finebut I added a gmail acccount and MailWasher finds its email OK but passes them straight to my in box (Windows Live Mail) with no option for me to edit them first.
I can tick the boxes, 'classify or delete' but the action is ignored for the gmail account so when I wash they go to inbox despite my selections in MW.
'Include in default mail check' is checked for both accounts.
Is this just how it is?
Thank you

Re: multiple accounts
Hi Dave
In Windows Live Mail, under Tools >> Accounts >> select the GMail account and click Properties > select the Servers tab at the top >> is your GMail account listed as POP3 or IMAP ?
Thanks

Re: multiple accounts
Right, that's the reason. IMAP is synchronised with your server, so what you see in your GMail Inbox in Windows Live Mail, is also what MailWasher sees.
So you've got a couple of options. In Windows Live Mail, you could move messages out of the GMail Inbox into another folder, that in turn should remove them from MailWashers view. Or remove the account from Windows Live Mail and add it back, but add it back as a POP3 account instead and set not to leave messages on the server http://support.tigertech.net/windows-live-mail-lmos
