I am using MW v6.51 and Windows 7. I currently have a "xxx@outlook.com" set up in MW that works just fine, but I set up a new outlook account (edited out : rusticdog) and I am getting a POP3 error message "Authorization failed on account abc.xyz@outlook [pop3.live.com]. Bad username or account"
I set the new account up in MW the same as I did my other Hotmail/Outlook email addresses - using secure connection and port 995 and the POP3 UDIL command box is checked.
I've been using MW since it was shareware and this is the first time I've had this problem.
Did the settings on new "outlook.com" accounts change? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: POP3 Error on Outlook.com Account
I expect the account isn't setup for POP access, if you go into Help >> user Files >> Logs >> look for the log file named after your account and open on Notepad >> check here and you should see the reason.
Otherwise, flick me some logs to look at, go Help >> Send Support Logs >> put chris as the Ticket Number in the bottom left field >> Send Logs.

I don't see a "Help >> user Files >> Logs >> look for the log file named after your account" in MW Pro 6.51 or "Help >> Send Support Logs"
What am I missing here?

Re: POP3 Error on Outlook.com Account
Sorry, I thought you were on another version of MailWasher
First thing to check is logon here and be sure POP is enabled.
Try this link, if it doesn't work then logon to the Outlook account, click the Settings icon >> Options >> Connect devices and apps with POP

I suppose I could install a more recent version of MW Pro, but v6.51 is working great - I supposedly have free updates for life since I contributed a couple hundred dollars to Nick Bolton for MW when it was freeware because I thought it was the best freeware I had seen in years.
